Amusement Parks

Why is food at Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags, and any other amusement park so dang expensive. But do not get me wrong I love going to six flags and it is the fact that these places are amazing that people will pay the price. It is like you have no choice I mean really as if you do not pay enough to get in the park, all the food is outrageous. How much money would they really loose by making their food prices a little cheaper? I would actually buy food in the park if it was cheaper rather than have a picnic in the parking lot. For example there is there one place in Disneyland where I am sure that everyone knows about where you can get McDonalds fries and for a large French fries it is like five something. If you went and got one right now down the street to any dang McDonalds you can get a large French fries for half the price. Here is an example at Knott’s Berry Farm there are two places that you can get funnel cake which is like the best in the world. I really wonder how much it cost to make a funnel cake. I do not know the price of them now but I remember if you wanted strawberries it is like two dollars extra. At my work I can get a twenty ounce bottle of soda for a dollar but all the vending machines in amusements parks are like three dollars, how crazy is that? I do not get it how they can charge so much money for the simple things just because they are in a gated fence that calls themselves Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags, or any other amusements parks. What gets in the heads of people that they think paying that much for anything is ok, how in the right mind did the people come up with the idea of charge all this money for cheap food think that it was actually going to work. Was it always expensive even when they first opened?

CRUNCHY BUT NOT TOO SOGGY

mmmhm Cereal, not too soggy but not so crunchy either. So many different kinds; Trix, Cap’n Crunch, and with berries and peanut butter, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, fruit loops, Check Mix, Rice Crispies, Frosted Flakes, Cocoa Pebbles, Apple Jacks, Frosted O’s, Kix, Raison bran, Corn Flakes, Rice, Corn, Multi grain, Wheat Chex, Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Special K, Life, Wheaties, Mini Wheats, Honey Bunches of Oats, Pops, Cocoa Puffs, Total, Cookie-Crisps, Golden Grams, Reeses Puffs, Banana Nut Granola, Breakfast with Barbie, Chocolate Donutz, cream of wheat, Grape Nuts, Reptar Crunch and this is not even half of them on the market today! If you think about it a cereal box is always so colorful and fun it is like a rainbow of excited when looking down a cereal aisle at the store, with games on the back of the box to look at when eating in the morning. There is always a story behind the picture of games on the back, search for the missing people or fill in the blanks. They always have theme songs to them for the commercials and as well as catchy slogans like “crunch-a-tize me cap’n” and “silly rabbit Trix are for kids”, so many box of cereal made just to catch an eye of a little kid in the grocery store on TV there is always wild adventures going on inside the cereal box. But as well as there are many cereals just put out when a certain movie comes out so they see Kung-Fu-Panda and then just want the cereal box because that’s what on their kids do not care what it taste like. Do they? I remember pick cereal because of the cool color changing spoon, or weird toy that they might come up to be appealing to the consumer. But as well as there are many cereals that are good for you like cheerios can lower your cholesterol so it makes it not just appealing to young children but too older and middle aged people as well. Like Special K can help you lose weight, and with overweight Americans they try everything to lose weight I wonder how many people have that box of cereal sitting in their pantry. Really does every cereal taste that much different from another mean every brand has about every flavor you can think of. Us Americans eat it like no tomorrow for breakfast, lunch and some even like if for dinner!

Do you eat to live or live to eat.........

We indulge ourselves with food eggs, sausage, milk, cheeseburgers, fries, shakes, smoothies, soda, chips, pizza, ect. day after day, how much is really too much? It takes fifteen minutes for our body to tell our brain that we are full. How much do we really eat in fifteen minutes before it is too late, of being over stuffed? Feeling bloated, getting heartburn, and an aching tummy. It can start of by going to eat at a restaurant and your parents saying that you better finish all your food and not waste it. What are you supposed to order that you can finish everything on your plate? Or should the question be why does the American serving so big compared to so many other countries.
Your stomach is supposed to be the size of your fist, but it will expand if you eat more than that and can possibly stay stretched out if that is you’re normal eating habit. I had my wisdom teeth pulled about a week and half ago and for one week I had nothing but liquids, frozen things that would dissolve in my mouth or ice cream. A couple of days ago for the first time in a week I had a chili dog with fries for brunch and I had two chicken enchiladas with beans for dinner and like an hour later my stomach felt like it was going to explode and I did not really even eat that much throughout the day. We could really eat less on a day basis and not be hungry and as time goes on your body with adapt to it.
It just continues to amaze me that the slower that we eat the healthier we would be. But the food taste so good we just eat so quickly and we eat and eat and eat like we cannot get enough of it. So many foods work against our body and those are the ones that seem to taste the best. Consider this when you go to the grocery store how my isle of healthy food is there compared to ice cream, chips, soda, and so much processed frozen
food isles.
